Dave Ernsberger is Platts' Global Editorial Director of Oil. Based in London since 2010, he is responsible for managing Platts' worldwide editorial coverage of crude oil and oil products. Prior to this, Dave was Senior Editorial Director for Asia, managing Platts' editorial and analytical groups in Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, and China from 2004 until 2009. Dave has a bachelor's degree in philosophy and politics from Warwick University, England, and a master's degree in international relations from Southampton University, England. Dave also speaks Spanish.

Esa Ramasamy has 17 years of experience at Platts. He is the director of Market Reporting for the Americas,
managing the Americas Market Reporting Team. He is one of the few reporters who have covered “the barrel,”
meaning he has covered all products (including petrochemicals) derived from a barrel of oil. Ramasamy has
covered petrochemicals in Asia, as well as products in the US.

Richard Capuchino has been with Platts since October 1994. He started as a petrochemicals reporter and then moved to the oil group where he has covered the US LPG market and more recently the Latin American and US West Coast crude markets. Richard has two bachelor degrees from the University of Houston.

As Manager of Downstream Market Development, Sharp is editor of the Refiner, a publication that covers blendstocks and feedstocks, including ethanol and biodiesel. Sharp created US Gulf Coast (USGC) and US West Coast (USWC) coverage for Platts, as well as the Latin American Wire and the Refiner. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
