Dave Ernsberger, Global Editorial Director of Oil, Platts
Dave Ernsberger is Platts' Global Editorial Director of Oil. Based in London since 2010, he is responsible for managing Platts’ worldwide editorial coverage of crude oil and oil products. Prior to this, Dave was Senior Editorial Director for Asia, managing Platts' editorial and analytical groups in Singapore, Japan, Australia, the Philippines and China from 2004 until 2009. Dave has a bachelor's degree in philosophy and politics from Warwick University, England, and a master's degree in international relations from Southampton University, England. Dave also speaks Spanish.

Rusty Braziel, President of RBN Energy, LLC, Former Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Bentek, Platts
With an extensive background in energy marketing, trading, and data services, Mr. Braziel is one of the most respected authorities in the field of energy information and markets. Braziel served on the senior executive team at BENTEK Energy from 2005 through 2012 as Vice President Sales, Marketing and Technology, establishing the firm as a key provider of information to the energy industry.During his tenure at BENTEK, Braziel contributed to many of the company’s most significant products, and spoke frequently on the company’s behalf at industry and company events.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the North American Energy Standards Board and is the author of numerous articles and publications. Mr. Braziel holds BBA and MBA degrees in Business and Finance from Stephen F. Austin University.

Esa Ramasamy

Esa Ramasamy, Director of Market Reporting for the Americas, Platts
Esa Ramasamy has 17 years' experience at Platts. He is the director of Market Reporting for the Americas, managing the Americas Market Reporting Team. He is one of the few reporters who have covered "the barrel," meaning he has covered all products (including petrochemicals) derived from a barrel of oil. Ramasamy has covered petrochemicals in Asia, as well as products in the US.

Samantha Santa Maria, Managing Editor, Platts
Samantha Santa Maria is a managing editor in the North American gas group covering and has covered US spot, forward and futures markets. In her role, she analyzes the impact of infrastructure, emerging supply sources, competing commodities, the wealth of joint ventures in the US shale sphere and the ebbs and flows of financial trading on natural gas markets and pricing. She has also analyzed the interplay of competing fuels, such as oil, coal and hydropower on natural gas price horizons. She has represented Platts at numerous conferences and client presentations on pricing forecasts and market trends and appeared on TV programs and quoted in US and international media outlets, such as Financial Times, The Times of India and China Economic Review.

Samantha has been in the news business for more than a decade, joining Platts in 2006. Prior to that, she was the assistant news editor at The Clarion-Ledger newspaper in Jackson, Mississippi. She started her career as a crime and technology reporter at The Straits Times newspaper in Singapore and holds a Bachelors of Communication Studies (Hons.) from Nanyang Technology University in Singapore and a Master of Journalism from Northwestern University in Illinois.

Bernardo Fallas, Associate Editor, Petrochemicals, Platts 
Bernardo Fallas covers the US olefins and polypropylene markets for Platts. He joined Platts in 2010 after six years as copy editor and sports writer for the Houston Chronicle. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Houston. A native of Costa Rica, he resides in Houston with his wife, Carolina, and daughter, Sophia.

Suzanne R. Evans, Senior Manager, Projects and Initiatives – Price Group, Platts
Ms. Evans is with the Price Group, which has responsibility across all Platts editorial sectors for facilitating development and improvement of methodology, ensuring consistent practices in our price reporting, and providing strong analysis and metrics to the editorial organization. She joined Platts in 2005 as an experienced editor in the US crude oil and products markets, initially covering the Americas bunker/tanker markets and then moving to a managerial role as team leader of the heavy ends market reporting team in Houston. In her role as team leader, she has been working with her colleagues to develop pricing methodology and market/news reporting. She covered the US Gulf Coast fuel oil market for three years at Platts, one of the first US markets to make the move to the Market on Close assessment process back in 2006. Ms. Evans has a B.A. in Political Science and Managerial Studies from Rice University.
